We are not building a business or sports team. Our goal is not monetary as profit- but as prophetic, and not human power. We are certainly not focused on a score board or competing with other believers. So why are we here? As I said last week, we are here to advance the Kingdom of God through the gospel of our King.
While teaching in Isaiah this past year, these truths jumped out. 650 years before Christ began the Church, Isaiah prophesied that the Messiah is Yahweh and how He would preach the gospel of the Kingdom and through us. We missed this truth. God had a plan and we did not continue to follow His. Even in Revelation the Church at Ephesus and Laodecia were rebuked for this fact and as we are being rebuked today. Repent and put Christ First in everything. His Church will prevail against the gates of hell.
Thus to advance the Kingdom our foundation and mission must be clear. It is supernatural and not natural or a fleshly mission.
How do we Advance the Kingdom through Supernatural Ministry?
Apostle Glenn Bleakney shared this:
The fivefold ministry, when fully embraced, creates a dynamic environment for Kingdom advancement:
1. Demonstrating God's Power:
- Miracles serve as tangible evidence of God's presence and power
- Signs and wonders break down skepticism and open hearts to the gospel
2. Expanding Spiritual Authority:
- Each role in the fivefold ministry carries unique spiritual authority
- Combined, they create a formidable force against spiritual opposition
3. Accelerating Church Growth:
- Miraculous ministry often leads to rapid church growth
- Testimonies of healings and deliverances attract seekers
4. Empowering All Believers:
- The fivefold model encourages all members to operate in spiritual gifts
- Miracles become normative rather than exceptional in church life
5. Transforming Communities:
- Supernatural interventions can address systemic issues in society
- Kingdom advancement occurs as spiritual breakthroughs lead to social transformation
6. Fulfilling the Great Commission:
- Signs and wonders serve as a catalyst for global missions
- Miraculous ministry opens doors in unreached areas
Here is our dilemma, in the process of advancing thr Kingdom are we bringing and making peace of are er keeping peace and bringing division?:
Here is an ARTICLE WRITEN BY APOSTLE Bo Salisbury in 2017
Quote
“The devil is well aware that anything divided cannot stand. This goes for a marriage, a local church or a region. For this very reason he has worked overtime developing religious strongholds that create cultures of selfishness, fear, pride, strife, competition, jealousy and ungodly control.
It was in the context of this religious culture that apostles began to emerge, especially in the 90's. But with these divisive strongholds remaining intact for the most part, much of the church that welcomed the restoration of apostles began to experience a hybrid of apostolic revelation and what religious strongholds promote. That's why some apostles began to use legitimate gifts from God to build their own kingdoms, muddying the waters of what the Lord was doing.
God is currently connecting His apostles and His entire body for that matter in preparation for an upheaval of religious strongholds in regions of the earth. Only a unified effort will overcome a divisive culture. As Scripture says we "overcome evil with good."
God is raising up peacemakers to disrupt the system that is set up for our failure while some are acting as peacekeepers, trying to keep things as they are, which is getting us nowhere!
Not everyone will get on board with this movement and in fact, those who fight it the fiercest will most likely be those who are profiting off the present hybrid of apostolic ministry and religious strongholds. That's because their focus is on how they are benefiting by this unholy mixture instead of how entire regions can be liberated by a unified apostolic alliance and church that only wants the name of Jesus to be glorified!
Pre-Pentecost, the disciples of Jesus mirrored this religious divisive culture by their competition, self-seeking and pride. But post-Pentecost we see a transformation take place where their unified effort brought great cultural transformation in regions of the earth. Just think about it for a minute: 12 apostles leading one church in Jerusalem! That alone is hard to compute in today's hybrid apostolic-religious culture!
From the get-go, apostles were meant to function in teams. Jesus sent them out 2 by 2. The first church had 12 of them. Paul wasn't a Lone Ranger either. It was rare that he worked alone. He had multiple apostles working with him at different times in addition to the young apostles he was mentoring. Even when they did minister alone there was a great coordination of effort through relationship.
But today, apostles have been isolated from one another by a religious culture that is in place to protect the turf of principalities and powers that seem to be winning the battle for domination in the land. I believe that it is critical that we allow the Lord to connect us with those He is bringing into our lives. It's for the purpose of relationship but there's an even greater purpose: to align the church for regional transformation!
The early church saw it in their generation and so will we! Let it be said of you and your apostolic company as it was of Paul and his apostolic team: "here comes those who have turned the world upside down!" Let fear spread in the enemy's camp because we are gaining momentum in this apostolic endeavor, the endeavor to dominate what has dominated us for too long!!
Apostles are pioneers that are meant to go ahead of others to pave the way for new territory to be taken for all to enjoy. Where are the apostles that will take their place in the new breed of unified apostles who refuse to exist in a hybrid apostolic-religious culture? Where are the peacemakers who are willing to contend for true unity and peace? Peace is worth fighting for! Love demands that we fight.” End Quote
