AI - ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE by Dave Bessey

(Scripture + Testimony + Apostolic Innovation)

“I understand the concern when people hear the phrase ‘AI music.’

If lyrics are created by a machine alone, then yes — there is no anointing.

A tool by itself cannot carry the Spirit.”

“But when lyrics are written by a minister,

when they come from Scripture,

when they are birthed in prayer, worship, and devotion,

and when the Holy Spirit is the One inspiring the message—

then the anointing is in the vessel, not the technology.”

“AI is not the author. It is simply an instrument.”

🎺 My Personal Testimony Demonstrates This

When I was a young believer, I played trumpet and baritone horn in the Church Orchestra.

Back then, our music was string-heavy and horn-light, and most arrangements didn’t even have parts for brass.

Our Music Pastor, Pastor Charlie, had to handwrite music for me —

sometimes from scratch — because very few worship resources included horn sections.

Even though he was a trained college music instructor, he struggled to create and transpose the music manually.

Transposition was one of the hardest tasks in music theory —

something that would take hours, even for experts and he to do it for U.S. brass week after week.

Eventually he asked me if I could sing baritone instead.

I’ll never forget what my parents told me growing up:

“Son, you sound like a dying cow in the shower.”

(hahaha — and they weren’t wrong!)

But something happened at 18.

Under the anointing, my voice changed.

God transformed me into a melodic baritone.

My horn literally became my voice.

If Pastor Charlie had today’s tools —

if he had AI to help arrange, transpose, and orchestrate —

he could have created the charts he needed in seconds, not hours.

He would have been freed to pastor, teach, mentor, and lead —

instead of wrestling with paper and pencil.

The anointing is in the minister.

The tool simply helps express what God placed inside.”

🎶 Scripture: David INVENTED Instruments for Worship

Innovation is not rebellion — it is biblical.

1 Chronicles 23:5 –

“David made instruments of music for Yahweh.”

David didn’t just play instruments —

he invented new ones.

He created:

• new lyres,

• new harps,

• new tuning systems,

• new musical designs,

• new worship technology

And the sons of Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun (1 Chr. 25) played those innovative instruments every day in the temple.

The anointing did not leave because the tools were new.

The Holy Spirit rested on David, not the wood or strings.

Just like today —

the anointing rests on the minister, not the machine.

🕊️ The Holy Spirit Anoints the Vessel, Not the Device

The Spirit filled Bezalel, not the chisels.

Inspired Paul, not the ink.

Empowered Joshua, not the trumpets.

Directed David, not the harp.

The tools simply followed the Spirit-led vessel.

🤖 Artificial Intelligence Is Just a Modern Instrument

For decades the Church has used:

• microphones

• drum machines

• keyboards

• digital audio workstations

• loop stations

• synthesizers

• auto-tune

• projectors

• recording software

Nobody says the Spirit leaves when we use technology.

AI is no different.

It doesn’t create the message —

it supports the minister.

🔥 **Fear Paralyzes.

Wisdom Stewards.

Obedience Innovates.**

The old IBM acronym applies:

“Garbage in, garbage out” (GIGO).

If the input is fleshly or empty,

the output will be empty.

But if the input is:

• Scripture

• prayer

• worship

• devotion

• truth

• Holy Spirit inspiration

Then even if the accompaniment is generated by a tool,

the message remains anointed because the Spirit authored it.

AI does not replace the Holy Spirit.

It simply removes technical obstacles so the minister can focus on worship.

Just as David innovated instruments for Yahweh,

ministers today can use every available tool

to glorify Jesus and build the Ekklesia.

⭐ Conclusion

AI does not create worship.

It supports worship.

AI does not replace ministers.

It empowers ministers.

AI does not remove anointing.

It amplifies what the Spirit has already birthed.

Ministers today are using modern tools

the same way David used new instruments,

Paul used Roman roads,

Luther used the printing press,

and missionaries used radio.

The vessel carries the anointing.

The technology carries the sound.
